The Cofluence team collaborated with NSW Spatial Services to conduct a six-month experiment with fresh types of internal innovation.
In doing this, the prototype program has focused on responding to several criteria:
- Low cost project development
- Leveraging the existing ‘inventory’ of assets and IP
- Responding to new market opportunities, such as drones and ag-tech
- Cultivating new business models that enable partners, such as the private sector and local government, to leverage current practices to deliver more economic value to NSW aligned with State Government policy
- Using innovation projects to respond to State Government innovation agendas
such as data as infrastructure - Enhancing the human capital of DFSI through staff development, aligned with ‘I Work for NSW’ principles and practices
