A consultative process to design a framework for sub-national knowledge hubs on innovation in the public sector in Indonesia
In partnership with FutureGov UK and funded by GIZ and USAID, this discovery project was designed to developed a framework for sharing knowledge and innovation practice for public sector practitioners at the sub-national level.
Co-designing models. Mapping ecosystems.
The project focused on field-based research and included:
- Interviews with public sector leaders and practitioners at all levels of government, as well as other relevant stakeholders and influencers
- Formal delegations & leadership engagement as well as informal briefings & dialogue sessions
- Site visits, workshops and meetings in regional Indonesia with local practitioners as well as with senior leaders in Jakarta
- Development of a Knowledge Sharing Hub model and proposed innovation accelerator program
